Quick Answer — FundedNext Login & Dashboard
- • FundedNext's main dashboard lives at app.fundednext.com, where you manage all accounts, payouts, challenges, resets, and add-on purchases under one login.
- • CFD platform credentials (MT4, MT5, cTrader, Match-Trader) arrive via email after you purchase a challenge. Each platform uses a different server and login process.
- • Futures traders must complete their first login on Tradovate Web (desktop browser) to sign the required agreements before using NinjaTrader or mobile apps.
- • US-based traders cannot log into MT4 or MT5 due to MetaQuotes restrictions. They're limited to cTrader or Match-Trader for CFD accounts.
- • The most common FundedNext login error is selecting the wrong server in MT4/MT5. Your credentials are server-specific, and using the wrong one returns an "invalid account" message.
Platform setup tested firsthand: I've logged into FundedNext accounts on MT5, cTrader, Match-Trader, Tradovate, and NinjaTrader. The login steps and troubleshooting here come from connecting these platforms to live challenge and funded accounts, not from reading help docs.
For a full comparison of all six FundedNext platforms, read my FundedNext platforms guide. You can also check my complete FundedNext review. For the absolute latest, visit FundedNext's website or their help center.
The FundedNext login process depends on which platform you're using and whether you're trading CFD or Futures. There's no single universal login. CFD traders get credentials by email and connect through MT4, MT5, cTrader, or Match-Trader. Futures traders start on Tradovate Web to sign agreements before they can trade on NinjaTrader or mobile. The central dashboard at app.fundednext.com ties everything together.
I've been through the login process on five of FundedNext's six platforms. The biggest source of confusion is that each platform has its own server, its own credential format, and its own quirks. Get one detail wrong and you're staring at a login error wondering if your account is broken. It usually isn't.
This guide walks through every login method, the full dashboard, common errors, and the workarounds that actually fix things. As of April 2026, here's how it all works.
How to Log Into the FundedNext Dashboard
The FundedNext dashboard at app.fundednext.com is your account management hub. It's separate from your trading platform login. You access it with the email and password you used when creating your FundedNext account.
Go to app.fundednext.com{rel="sponsored nofollow noopener"} and enter your registered email address plus your password. If you set up two-factor authentication, you'll need your authenticator code after entering credentials.
Once inside, the dashboard shows every account you own: active challenges, funded accounts, expired evaluations, payout history. You don't need to log into individual trading platforms to check your account status. The dashboard handles all of that.
If you forgot your password, use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page. FundedNext sends a reset link to your registered email. Check spam if it doesn't show up within a couple minutes.
One thing to know: the dashboard login and your trading platform login are completely independent. Changing your dashboard password does not change your MT5 or Tradovate credentials. They're separate systems.
How to Log Into FundedNext CFD Platforms (MT4, MT5, cTrader, Match-Trader)
CFD platform credentials arrive by email after you purchase a challenge. The email contains your login ID, password, and the server name. Each platform works differently, so I'll break them down individually.
MetaTrader 5 (MT5) Login
MT5 is the most popular CFD platform on FundedNext. After purchasing, you receive an email with three pieces of information: your account number (a numeric login ID), your password, and the server name.
Open MT5. Go to File > Login to Trade Account (or tap the account icon on mobile). Enter your login number, password, and select the correct server from the dropdown. The server name follows a pattern like "FundedNext-Server" but the exact name depends on your account type and when it was provisioned.
If the server doesn't appear in the dropdown, you need to add it manually. Go to File > Open an Account, type "FundedNext" in the broker search field, and wait for the server list to populate. Select your server and proceed with your credentials.
I've found that the server selection is where most people get stuck. Your credentials won't work on the wrong server. It's not a bug. Each server is a separate infrastructure, and your account only exists on the one specified in your email.
For the full MT5 connection walkthrough, I covered it in my FundedNext MT5 setup guide.
MetaTrader 4 (MT4) Login
MT4 follows the same basic process as MT5 but with a slightly different interface. You get a login number, password, and server via email.
Open MT4. Go to File > Login to Trade Account. Enter your credentials and pick the correct server. If the server isn't listed, go to File > Open an Account, scan for FundedNext servers, and add yours.
MT4 is worth mentioning because it's the older platform with fewer features than MT5. FundedNext still supports it, but most traders are better served by MT5 unless they have MT4-specific EAs they refuse to port. My FundedNext MT4 setup guide has screenshots of every step.
Important: MT4 and MT5 are not available to US traders on FundedNext. MetaQuotes blocked US-based IP addresses from connecting to offshore brokers. If you're in the US and purchased an MT4 or MT5 account, contact FundedNext support to switch platforms. More on this in the US restrictions section below.
cTrader Login
cTrader uses a cTrader ID system instead of a numeric login. When you purchase a FundedNext cTrader account, you'll receive an email inviting you to link the account to your cTrader ID. If you don't have a cTrader ID yet, you'll create one during this process.
Go to the cTrader website or download the cTrader desktop app. Log in with your cTrader ID (email and password). Your FundedNext account should appear in the account list on the left sidebar. If it doesn't appear immediately, wait a few minutes and refresh. Account provisioning can take up to 30 minutes.
cTrader also supports direct web trading at trade.ctrader.com without installing anything. Same login, same accounts, accessible from any browser.
The cTrader login process is actually the smoothest of all FundedNext platforms because there's no server selection involved. Your cTrader ID automatically pulls in all linked broker accounts.
One catch: cTrader on FundedNext carries a $25/month platform fee. That's billed separately from your challenge purchase. Details in my FundedNext cTrader guide.
Match-Trader Login
Match-Trader is FundedNext's newest CFD platform option. After purchase, you receive login credentials by email. The login process happens through Match-Trader's web terminal or their desktop/mobile app.
Open the Match-Trader platform and enter your credentials. The server is pre-configured for FundedNext accounts, so there's no manual server selection required. That alone eliminates the most common login error.
Match-Trader has a clean interface and fast execution. For US traders who can't use MT4/MT5, it's one of two available options alongside cTrader. I broke down the full feature set in my FundedNext Match-Trader guide.
How to Log Into FundedNext Futures Platforms (Tradovate, NinjaTrader)
Futures logins are completely separate from CFD. You don't use the same credentials, and the provisioning process is different.
Tradovate Login (Required First Step)
After purchasing a FundedNext Futures challenge, you receive Tradovate credentials by email. Your first login must happen on Tradovate Web using a desktop browser. Not mobile. Not NinjaTrader. Desktop browser only.
The reason: Tradovate requires you to sign trading agreements and acknowledge risk disclosures before your account is activated. These agreement screens only load in the web interface. If you try logging into NinjaTrader first, your account won't be provisioned and you'll get an authentication error.
Go to trader.tradovate.com. Enter your Tradovate username and password from the FundedNext email. Walk through the agreement screens. Sign everything. Once completed, your account is fully activated and you can connect from any supported platform.
After the initial web login, you can use the Tradovate desktop app, Tradovate mobile app, or connect through NinjaTrader. But that first login must be web-based. I've seen traders waste hours troubleshooting NinjaTrader connections when the real problem was skipping this step.
Full setup details are in my FundedNext Tradovate setup guide.
NinjaTrader Login
NinjaTrader connects to FundedNext Futures accounts through Tradovate's data feed. You don't log into NinjaTrader with FundedNext credentials directly. Instead, you link your Tradovate account within NinjaTrader.
Open NinjaTrader 8. Go to Connections > Configure. Add a new connection and select "Tradovate" as the provider. Enter your Tradovate username and password (the same ones from your FundedNext Futures email). Set the connection to "Simulation" for challenge accounts or "Live" for funded accounts, depending on what FundedNext support instructs.
Once connected, your FundedNext Futures account appears in NinjaTrader's account list. You can trade directly from NinjaTrader's charts, DOM, or order entry windows.
If the connection fails, make sure you completed the Tradovate Web agreements first. That's the number one reason NinjaTrader connections don't work with new FundedNext accounts.
My FundedNext NinjaTrader setup guide covers the full connection configuration with troubleshooting steps.
What You See Inside the FundedNext Dashboard
The FundedNext dashboard at app.fundednext.com is where everything lives outside of actual trade execution. Here's what each section contains as of April 2026.
Account Overview
The main dashboard screen displays all your accounts in a grid or list view. Each account card shows the account type (Stellar 1-Step, Stellar 2-Step, Bolt, etc.), the platform (MT5, cTrader, Tradovate, etc.), the current balance, equity, and drawdown status. Accounts are color-coded by status: active challenge, funded, breached, or expired.
You can click into any account to see detailed stats including open P&L, daily loss tracking, and how close you are to the profit target or drawdown limit.
Payout History
The Payout section shows every withdrawal you've requested and its status. Each entry lists the amount, the payout method, the date requested, and whether it's pending, processing, or completed. FundedNext processes payouts through RiseWorks (formerly Rise), and the dashboard tracks the full lifecycle.
Active Challenges
Challenges in progress get their own section. You can see your current profit, remaining drawdown buffer, days elapsed, and whether you've met the minimum trading day requirement. For multi-step challenges like Stellar 2-Step, the dashboard tracks which phase you're in.
Funded Accounts
Funded accounts are separated from challenges. The funded section shows your profit split percentage, total earnings, pending payouts, and account health. If you've scaled up through FundedNext's scaling plan, the increased allocation is reflected here.
Reset Option
Breached accounts show a "Reset" button. Clicking it takes you to the reset purchase flow. As of April 2026, FundedNext offers resets at a discount compared to buying a brand new challenge. The reset restores your account to its starting balance and resets all trading metrics.
Add-On Purchases
The dashboard includes an add-on store where you can purchase extras like additional drawdown buffer or other challenge modifications. Not every account type supports every add-on, so the available options change based on which account you're viewing.
Account Credentials
You can find your platform login credentials in the dashboard too. Go to the specific account page and look for the credentials section. It shows your login ID, password, and server name. Useful if you deleted the original email or need to reconnect after switching devices.
Common FundedNext Login Problems and Fixes
Login issues at FundedNext almost always fall into one of six categories. I've hit most of these myself.
Wrong Server Selected (MT4/MT5)
The single most frequent login error. Your MT4 or MT5 credentials only work on the specific server assigned to your account. If you pick "FundedNext-Demo" when your account is on "FundedNext-Live2" (or any other mismatch), you get "Invalid account" or "Authorization failed."
Fix: check your email for the exact server name. In MT5, go to File > Open an Account, search for FundedNext, and make sure the correct server is in your list before logging in.
Expired or Rotated Credentials
FundedNext occasionally rotates credentials, especially when accounts transition between phases (challenge to funded). If your old password stops working after you passed a phase, check your email for new credentials. Also check the dashboard under the account's credential section.
MetaQuotes US Restriction
US-based traders cannot connect to MT4 or MT5 on FundedNext. The platform will either refuse the connection entirely or show an error about server unavailability. This isn't a FundedNext issue. MetaQuotes, the company behind MetaTrader, blocked US IP addresses from connecting to offshore broker servers.
Fix: switch to cTrader or Match-Trader for CFD. Contact FundedNext support to request a platform change. For more on which countries face restrictions, read my FundedNext restricted countries guide.
Tradovate Agreements Not Signed
New Futures traders who jump straight to NinjaTrader or Tradovate mobile without completing the web-based agreement process will get locked out. The account isn't fully provisioned until those agreements are signed.
Fix: log into trader.tradovate.com on a desktop browser, sign everything, then try your other platform.
Two-Factor Authentication Issues
If you enabled 2FA and lost access to your authenticator app, you'll need to contact FundedNext support directly. They can reset 2FA on your dashboard account, but it requires identity verification. Keep your 2FA backup codes somewhere safe when you first set it up.
Browser Cache or Cookie Problems
Sometimes the dashboard login at app.fundednext.com fails even with correct credentials. This usually comes down to stale browser cache or conflicting cookies from previous sessions.
Fix: clear your browser cache and cookies for fundednext.com, or try an incognito/private browsing window. If the problem persists, try a different browser entirely.
How Do US Trader Login Restrictions Work at FundedNext?
US traders face specific platform restrictions at FundedNext that affect the login process directly.
For CFD accounts, US traders can only use cTrader or Match-Trader. MT4 and MT5 are blocked by MetaQuotes for connections from US IP addresses. This isn't something FundedNext controls. If you're a US trader who accidentally purchased an MT4 or MT5 account, FundedNext support can switch you to an available platform.
For Futures accounts, there are no US-specific restrictions. Tradovate and NinjaTrader both work normally from the US. The login process is identical for US and international traders on the Futures side.
One thing I see come up in forums: VPN workarounds for MT4/MT5. Some traders try connecting through a non-US VPN to bypass the MetaQuotes block. This works technically, but it violates the terms of service at most brokers and can get your account flagged. I wouldn't risk a funded account over it.
The bottom line for US traders: stick to cTrader or Match-Trader for CFD. Use Tradovate or NinjaTrader for Futures. Don't try to hack around MetaQuotes restrictions.
How to Set Up Security Settings on FundedNext
FundedNext offers two-factor authentication (2FA) for the dashboard at app.fundednext.com. Setting it up takes two minutes and it's worth doing.
Log into the dashboard. Go to your profile or account settings. Look for the Security or 2FA section. FundedNext supports authenticator-based 2FA (Google Authenticator, Authy, or any TOTP app). Scan the QR code with your authenticator app, enter the verification code to confirm, and save.
After enabling 2FA, every dashboard login requires your password plus a six-digit code from your authenticator. This protects against unauthorized access even if someone gets your password.
Save your backup codes. FundedNext provides them when you first enable 2FA. These codes let you log in if you lose your phone or switch devices. Store them in a password manager or write them down somewhere secure. If you lose both your authenticator and your backup codes, you'll need to go through FundedNext support to regain access, and that process isn't instant.
Note that 2FA only applies to the dashboard login. Your trading platform credentials (MT5, cTrader, Tradovate, etc.) don't have a separate 2FA layer. Platform security depends on keeping those credentials private and using the platforms' built-in security features.
For Tradovate specifically, you can enable 2FA within Tradovate's own account settings at tradovate.com. That's separate from FundedNext's 2FA and protects your Futures trading access independently.
How to Log Into FundedNext on Mobile
Mobile access depends on which platform you're trading.
Dashboard (Mobile Browser)
The FundedNext dashboard at app.fundednext.com is mobile-responsive. Open it in Safari, Chrome, or any mobile browser. Same login credentials as desktop. You can check account status, view payout history, and manage accounts on the go. There's no dedicated FundedNext mobile app for dashboard access as of April 2026.
MT5 Mobile App
Download MetaTrader 5 from the App Store or Google Play. Open the app, tap the menu icon, and go to "Manage Accounts" or "Login to Existing Account." Search for FundedNext in the broker list, select your server, and enter your credentials. The mobile MT5 experience is limited compared to desktop (fewer indicators, no EA support), but order execution and account monitoring work fine.
MT4 Mobile App
Same process as MT5 mobile. Download MetaTrader 4, search for FundedNext, select your server, and log in. Same US restrictions apply on mobile as desktop.
cTrader Mobile App
Download cTrader from the App Store or Google Play. Log in with your cTrader ID. Your FundedNext account appears automatically. No server selection needed. The cTrader mobile app is arguably the best mobile trading experience among FundedNext's platforms, with full charting, one-tap execution, and account switching.
Match-Trader Mobile
Match-Trader has a mobile web interface and a mobile app. Download the Match-Trader app or access it via browser. Enter your credentials from the FundedNext email. Server is auto-configured.
Tradovate Mobile
Download the Tradovate app. Log in with your Tradovate username and password. Make sure you've already completed the web-based agreement signing on desktop first. The Tradovate mobile app gives you full order execution for Futures.
NinjaTrader Mobile
NinjaTrader does not have a mobile app as of April 2026. If you trade FundedNext Futures through NinjaTrader, you're limited to the desktop platform. For mobile Futures access, use the Tradovate app instead. Your account is the same. Both NinjaTrader and Tradovate mobile connect to the same Tradovate infrastructure. I covered future mobile developments in my FundedNext mobile app guide.
FundedNext CFD Dashboard vs Futures Account Management
FundedNext runs CFD and Futures as two separate product lines under one roof. The main dashboard at app.fundednext.com shows both, but the underlying account management differs.
CFD accounts are fully managed within the FundedNext ecosystem. Your credentials, account metrics, phase transitions, and payouts all happen through app.fundednext.com and the connected trading platform.
Futures accounts involve a third party. Tradovate handles the execution infrastructure, which means you have two sets of login credentials: one for the FundedNext dashboard (to view account status, request payouts, purchase add-ons) and one for Tradovate (to actually trade). NinjaTrader connects through Tradovate, so it uses the Tradovate credentials too.
This dual-login structure means Futures traders need to monitor two places. Your P&L and position data show up in Tradovate in real time. But payout requests, challenge progress tracking, and account management happen on the FundedNext dashboard. The dashboard pulls data from Tradovate, but there can be a short sync delay.
If you run both CFD and Futures accounts at FundedNext, you'll have one dashboard login plus separate credentials for each trading platform. It's manageable once you understand the structure, but the first time through it feels like a lot of different passwords.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I log into FundedNext for the first time?
FundedNext sends your login credentials via email after you purchase a challenge. For the dashboard, go to app.fundednext.com and use the email and password from your account registration. For trading platforms, use the separate credentials from the purchase confirmation email. Futures traders must complete their first login at trader.tradovate.com on desktop to sign required agreements.
What is the FundedNext dashboard URL?
The FundedNext dashboard is located at app.fundednext.com. This is where you manage all your challenge and funded accounts, view payout history, purchase resets, buy add-ons, and access your platform login credentials. It works on both desktop and mobile browsers.
Why can't I log into FundedNext MT5?
The most common reason for FundedNext MT5 login failures is selecting the wrong server. Your credentials only work on the specific server listed in your email. Check your purchase confirmation email for the exact server name, then make sure it's selected in MT5 under File > Login to Trade Account. US traders cannot use MT5 at all due to MetaQuotes IP restrictions.
Can US traders log into FundedNext?
Yes, US traders can log into FundedNext, but with platform restrictions. FundedNext blocks US traders from using MT4 and MT5 for CFD accounts due to MetaQuotes restrictions. US-based CFD traders must use cTrader or Match-Trader instead. For Futures, US traders have full access to both Tradovate and NinjaTrader with no restrictions.
How do I find my FundedNext login credentials?
FundedNext sends platform credentials via email after each account purchase. If you lost the email, log into the dashboard at app.fundednext.com, navigate to the specific account page, and find the credentials section. It displays your login ID, password, and server name for the assigned trading platform.
Does FundedNext have two-factor authentication?
FundedNext supports 2FA on the main dashboard at app.fundednext.com using authenticator apps like Google Authenticator or Authy. You can enable it in your profile security settings. FundedNext provides backup codes during setup that you should save in case you lose access to your authenticator. Trading platform logins (MT5, cTrader, etc.) do not have their own separate 2FA through FundedNext.
Why does FundedNext have separate logins for CFD and Futures?
FundedNext operates CFD and Futures as separate product lines with different infrastructure providers. CFD platforms (MT4, MT5, cTrader, Match-Trader) connect through FundedNext's own broker infrastructure. Futures platforms (Tradovate, NinjaTrader) route through Tradovate's execution system. This means Futures traders have two credential sets: one for the FundedNext dashboard and one for Tradovate.
Can I use the FundedNext dashboard on my phone?
FundedNext's dashboard at app.fundednext.com is mobile-responsive and works in any mobile browser. There's no dedicated FundedNext mobile app for account management as of April 2026. For actual trading on mobile, you can use the MT5, MT4, cTrader, Match-Trader, or Tradovate mobile apps with your FundedNext platform credentials.
What should I do if my FundedNext password stops working?
If your FundedNext dashboard password stops working, use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page at app.fundednext.com to receive a reset email. If your trading platform password stops working, check your email for updated credentials since FundedNext sometimes rotates passwords when accounts transition between phases. You can also find current credentials in your dashboard account page.
Do I need to sign agreements before trading FundedNext Futures?
Yes. FundedNext requires Futures traders to sign Tradovate's trading agreements before the account is fully activated. This must be done through the Tradovate web platform at trader.tradovate.com on a desktop browser. Skipping this step causes login failures on NinjaTrader and the Tradovate mobile app. The process takes about five minutes and only needs to happen once per account.
The bottom line: FundedNext's login structure is more complex than most prop firms because they support six platforms across two product lines. The dashboard at app.fundednext.com is your central hub, but you'll need platform-specific credentials for actual trading. Get the server right on MT4/MT5, sign agreements on Tradovate Web before touching NinjaTrader, and enable 2FA on the dashboard. If you're a US trader, skip MT4/MT5 entirely and go with cTrader, Match-Trader, or the Futures platforms. Once you've been through the initial setup, the daily login routine is straightforward.
