⌄Inside the platform
Top One Futures is a futures-only prop firm that launched in April 2025 and, as of August 2026, sells four programs (Elite Daily, Elite Access, Instant Sim Funded, Ignite), all on a 90 percent profit split in the sim stage. I have traded TOF since it launched, submitted 18 or more payout requests across multiple funded accounts, and withdrawn regularly, mostly on Tradovate; my payouts have landed in under 24 hours. The reason I keep coming back is the payout speed and the 90 percent split; the thing to watch is the consistency rule, which ranges from 15 percent on Ignite to 40 percent on Elite Daily's evaluation and Elite Access's funded phase and is the most common reason first payouts get held.
Ratings & Reviews
90 percent profit split on every program in the sim stage, no tiered ramp
Proof tour
I'm preparing step-by-step screenshot documentation from my own cycles at this firm. Until it's live, no proof visuals appear here, the tested record above stands on its own.
What I like / could be better
- 90% profit split across the whole lineup, no tiered splits, no reduced payout on first withdrawal
- Payouts process via Riseworks in under 24 hours on every request I've submitted since launch
- Four programs on sale covering evaluation and instant funding, subscription (Elite Daily, free activation) and one-time fee (Elite Access) paths both included
- News trading unrestricted outside the 2-minute rule on funded Elite Daily and Elite Access
- Platform choice at checkout, Tradovate or NinjaTrader plus MatchTrader and TradeLocker options on the purchase page, with TradingView connecting via Tradovate
- Trustpilot 4.8/5 across 4,605 reviews, stable rating since launch
- Consistency rule is a trap for new traders, Ignite's 15% and the 40% rules on Elite Daily (evaluation) and Elite Access (funded) catch traders who didn't plan P&L distribution from day one
- Four purchasable programs plus two legacy rule sets create decision fatigue, picking between Elite Daily, Elite Access, Ignite, and Instant Sim Funded isn't obvious without deep rule knowledge
- Strict automation ban, no EAs, bots, or scripts, with local NinjaTrader ATM strategies the only documented exception
- Founded in April 2025, younger than competitors like Topstep or Apex, less long-term track record
- The checked help center does not document purchase-method reliability; verify the live checkout before paying
My first Elite 50K died on an FOMC Wednesday
I bought my first Top One Futures account shortly after the firm launched in April 2025, an Elite 50K at $99. My first challenge attempt lasted four days before I breached on a Wednesday FOMC session. I'd been trading 3 NQ contracts on a normal setup, held through the news release, and got stopped out for $1,200 on a single trade, enough to breach the account by the end of the session. Reset purchased the next day, lesson learned about position sizing into news.
This was my experience on the legacy Elite program, not the current Elite Access offer. I reset the challenge the next day at 2 NQ contracts maximum, traded patiently, and passed in eight trading days. The legacy activation was $149. I requested my first payout on day 6 of the funded phase. My best day accounted for 41% of total profit, so the legacy 25% consistency rule held the payout. I kept trading for another week, brought that best day below 19% of total profit, and the payout was released. It landed four hours after dashboard submission. Current Elite Access activation is size-based at $139/$189/$259/$359.
That first cycle taught me the two lessons that shaped the rest of my trading at Top One Futures: (1) position sizing into volatility is the #1 account-killer, far more than bad setups; (2) plan the consistency math from day one, not at the payout request. I've internalized both and the remainder of my TOF history reflects it, clean payouts across multiple accounts, zero consistency holds since that first one, and 18+ payouts since April 2025.
Since TOF launched I've operated across the account types as they became available, starting with Elite, adding Elite Daily along the way, then Ignite and Instant Sim Funded as each product rolled out. The April 2026 Elite Access launch was a material change, I passed Elite Access on my first attempt in three trading days because the evaluation has no daily loss limit, which let me size more aggressively on clean trend days. I now run Elite Access + Ignite simultaneously, using Elite Access for discretionary trades with natural P&L variance and Ignite for mechanical scalping with flat distribution.
On customer support: I've opened roughly 12 tickets over my TOF history, mostly around activation timing questions and one platform-connection issue on NinjaTrader. Every ticket was resolved within 2 hours of opening. Ash specifically helped with the NinjaTrader issue and pushed through a backend fix on TOF's side within the same session. This matches what the Trustpilot reviews describe, it's not just marketing copy.
The one genuine frustration I've experienced: during a 2025 profit target restructure, my active challenges stayed on the older rule set but the dashboard UI briefly showed the new target values. This caused about 48 hours of confusion before TOF clarified in writing that existing challenges kept their original terms. A minor process gap that could've been handled better with proactive communication.
Net assessment after my full TOF history, 18+ payouts since April 2025, and coaching 30+ PTV community members through TOF challenges: this is one of the three most trader-friendly futures prop firms I've tested, alongside Lucid Trading and MyFundedFutures. The rule complexity is the primary trade-off for the account depth and payout speed.
Specific breach story: I had an Elite Daily 50K evaluation running at +$2,400 with the drawdown line locked at $50,100. On a Wednesday CPI release I was sized at 3 NQ, modest for a news session. The release printed hotter than expected; NQ dropped 80 points in 90 seconds. My stop-loss orders filled 12 points worse than the stop price due to the gap, and I could not trade the account back above the line before the session ended. The day closed below the locked $50,100 level, and since Elite Daily checks the drawdown on the closing balance, the account was breached. I had been following my rules, had my stops in place, had the right position size for a normal session, and still breached. Lesson: on high-impact news releases, the stop-loss is not the risk control. The gap risk is. I now reduce size to 25% of normal during the 5-minute release window and the 10-minute cooldown after.
Specific payout story: I'd been funded on an Ignite 100K for 17 days. Consistency math checked out: my best day sat at 13.7% of total profit, below the 15% rule. I submitted a payout request on a Monday morning. The Riseworks notification hit my email at 14:47 ET the same day, a 5.5-hour turnaround including the TOF verification and the Riseworks ACH initiation. Funds landed in my bank account Tuesday morning. Zero friction. The same experience has repeated on every subsequent Ignite payout cycle.
Specific scaling story: When I wanted to add a second concurrent account, I was deciding between another Ignite or an Elite Access. I had three months of clean Ignite 100K trading at that point, with consistent monthly payouts. Decision: Elite Access 100K for rule diversification. Passed the 100K evaluation against the $6,000 target in four trading days. Activated for $259 through the dashboard. Now running both in parallel, Ignite for mechanical NQ scalping, Elite Access for the discretionary trend-continuation strategy where my best days occasionally hit strong single-day results. Combined monthly payouts have been solid across both accounts.
What I'd do differently starting Top One Futures today: Start with Elite Access 50K. It is $218 list, and code VIBES brings it to $39 at checkout (verified August 2026); no daily loss limit during the evaluation is insurance against the exact scenario that killed my first account. After passing Elite Access, add a concurrent Ignite 50K only after 60 days of clean Elite Access trading, not immediately. The temptation to scale fast is the biggest risk to funded-account longevity.
Four programs, one pricing matrix
As of August 2026, Top One Futures sells four programs: Elite Daily, Elite Access, Instant Sim Funded, and Ignite. The firm rolled out its 'Top One 2.0' revamp in late July 2026 with new pricing across the board. The matrix below shows list prices; the firm itself runs aggressive sitewide promos on top.
| Account | 25K | 50K | 100K | 150K | Consistency | Drawdown | Activation |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Elite Daily | $178/mo | $218/mo | $398/mo | $549/mo | 40% (eval only) | EOD trailing | None |
| Elite Access | $139 | $218 | $259 | $359 | 40% (funded only) | EOD trailing | $139-$359 after passing |
| Instant Sim Funded | $419 | $679 | $821 | $939 | 20% (funded) | EOD trailing | None |
| Ignite | $218 | $398 | $563 | $799 | 15% (funded) | EOD trailing | None |
Reset fees: Elite Daily evaluation resets are $75/$93/$174/$242 by size and funded resets $299-$1,250. Elite Access evaluation resets are a flat $35 (up to 12 per account per 30 days, only within 14 days of a breach), funded resets $299-$1,349. Ignite and Instant Sim Funded don't reset, a breach requires buying a new account.
Elite Daily, the subscription evaluation: $178-$549 per month by size, no activation fee, and daily payout eligibility once funded. One phase, flat 6% profit target, 40% consistency during the evaluation only, daily loss limit in both phases. Best for traders who want the payout cycle as short as it gets.
Elite Access, the one-time-fee evaluation: $139-$359 list, and code VIBES brings any size down to $39 at checkout (verified August 2026). Activation after passing is $139/$189/$259/$359 by size, paid via dashboard. 30-day evaluation time limit, no daily loss limit during the evaluation, 40% consistency in the funded phase only. Best for traders who've historically broken on daily loss limits.
Ignite Instant Funding, instant funding, no evaluation: $218-$799 one-time. 15% consistency on new accounts is the strictest at TOF. End-of-day trailing drawdown of $1,000/$2,000/$4,000/$6,000 by size. Best for mechanical traders with flat daily P&L distribution.
Instant Sim Funded, instant funding alongside Ignite: $419-$939 one-time under the Instant 2.0 terms for purchases since July 27, 2026, with 20% consistency and end-of-day trailing drawdown of $1,000/$2,000/$4,000/$5,250. VIBES was not measured on this program. Best for traders wanting instant funding with more consistency headroom than Ignite.
The original Elite evaluation and S2F Sim PRO are no longer on the public purchase page (August 2026); their rules remain documented in the help center for existing accounts. Elite runs a 25% consistency in sim funded, S2F an intraday tick-by-tick drawdown with an Equity Stability Score instead of best-day consistency.
All four programs share: a 90% profit split in the sim stage (80/20 after the move to live), payouts through Riseworks, platform choice at checkout (Tradovate or NinjaTrader, plus MatchTrader and TradeLocker options on the purchase page), and a strict ban on automated trading. At the move to live, only one account transitions and the remaining accounts are closed at that point. Account limits vary by program, up to 35 active funded accounts per household.
Picking the wrong account usually shows up at first payout, not at activation, the side-by-side account types breakdown is the comparison view I'd hand a new trader before they buy.
Code VIBES applies at checkout; on Elite Access it drops every size to $39 each (verified at checkout, August 2026). Full details on the discount code page.
No single TOF rulebook: rules by account type
Top One Futures rules vary by program, there is no single "TOF rulebook". The per-program rule matrix as of August 2026:
| Rule | Elite Daily | Elite Access | Ignite | Instant Sim |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Daily loss limit (evaluation) | Yes | No | N/A | N/A |
| Daily loss limit (funded) | $500-$1,850 | $500-$1,750 | $500-$3,000 | $625-$3,000 |
| Drawdown type | EOD trailing (close basis) | EOD trailing (close basis) | EOD trailing | EOD trailing |
| Consistency rule | 40% (evaluation only) | 40% (funded only) | 15% | 20% |
| Payout gate | Every 24h, buffer + $500 | On-demand, 5 profitable days + buffer | 5% cycle target, $250 min | 6/5/4% payout targets |
| Profit target (evaluation) | 6% | 6% | None (instant) | None (instant) |
| Profit split | 90% | 90% | 90% | 90% |
The universal rules across all four programs:
Profit split: 90% to trader, 10% to Top One Futures on every sim funded account; after the move to live, the split is 80/20. Only one account transitions and the remaining accounts are closed at that point.
Maximum concurrent accounts: Up to 5 Elite Daily accounts, and per the household-limits article all 5 must be the exact same account size, while the Elite Daily V2 article itself walks through a mixed household of two 25K, two 50K and one 100K account; the firm has not reconciled the two. Up to 10 Elite Access funded accounts, all 10 the exact same account size, per the household-limits article (the Access overview still says 5). 3 Instant Sim Funded accounts, raised to 5 on the 25K and 50K sizes per the household-limits article and the August 2026 pricing page (the S2F-collection articles still say 3), and all accounts in that category must be the exact same size, sizes cannot be mixed. Up to 10 Ignite accounts of the same size. A household can hold up to 35 active funded accounts in total. Top One Futures' prohibited-practices article caps Instant Sim and Elite Sim at three funded accounts per household and states that activating a fourth automatically breaches the oldest account without refund, while the household-limits article allows five on the 25K and 50K sizes; on 100K and 150K both articles agree on three. The 35-account household total assumes the five-account reading. Until the firm reconciles the two, treat three as the safe ceiling on the 25K and 50K sizes. One limit sits above all of these: once anyone in the household holds a live funded account, the household cannot hold sim funded accounts at all.
Payout minimum: Elite Daily pays every 24 hours with a $500 minimum once the payout buffer plus $500 is reached. Elite Access is on-demand with a $500 minimum, after 5 profitable days (minimum daily profit $200-$350 by size) and its buffer. Ignite pays per 5% cycle with a $250 minimum. Instant has no minimum trading days; the help center does not publish a minimum payout for Instant.
News trading: Funded Elite Daily and funded Elite Access accounts may not execute trades from 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after a high-impact news event (a 4-minute window; FOMC, CPI, NFP and similar). All other programs and all evaluations have no news restriction.
EA / bot trading: Automated trading is strictly forbidden at Top One Futures: no EAs, no bots, no scripts. All trades must be entered manually or semi-manually. The only documented exception is local ATM strategies inside NinjaTrader Desktop.
Trading hours: Sessions run 6:00 PM to 4:10 PM ET, Monday through Friday. Overnight holding is not allowed: all positions are force-flattened at 4:10 PM ET, and trading stays paused until the next session opens at 6:00 PM ET (the help center additionally describes a one-hour break from 5:00 to 6:00 PM ET). For Friday the same help center article gives 4:00 PM ET as the final close of the week, so both times stand side by side unreconciled. Weekend trading is strictly prohibited; markets are closed from Friday 4:00 PM ET to Sunday 6:00 PM ET.
Restricted countries: The help center lists 73 countries and territories, and it is not just OFAC names: Iceland, the Philippines, Indonesia, Turkey, Ukraine, Ecuador, Panama, and Jamaica are all on it. Check the current list before purchasing; trading from a restricted country hard-breaches the account.
Household / KYC: KYC runs in the TOF dashboard, powered by KYCAID, once before trading a funded account. A verified and linked Rise account is a separate requirement for payouts, without it, payout requests cannot be submitted. Only the registered account owner may trade; letting anyone else trade the account, family included, breaches all associated accounts.
Inactivity: At least one trade every 14 calendar days, or the account takes a hard breach (permanent, profits lost). Exceptions only if you inform support ahead of time.
Copy trading: Allowed only between your own accounts of the exact same type and the exact same size; on Ignite you may copy across up to 10 same-size accounts. Manual mirroring across mismatched accounts counts as copy trading, and copying anyone else's trades (signal groups, family, friends) is prohibited.
Minimum trade time: Trades must remain open for a minimum of 10 seconds across all account types. The help center is exact about the edge: 10.00 seconds is a violation, 10.01 seconds is acceptable, closing any portion of a position before 10 seconds counts as one, and scaling into a position within the first 10 seconds is fine. If the risk team sees excessive ultra-high-frequency trading it reserves the right to remove profits based on trades closed in under 10 seconds, a sub-10-second trade may not count toward progress in an evaluation account or may count as a rule violation on a sim funded account, and the prohibited-practices article frames that whole list as a breach of the account with all associated profits forfeited.
IP, VPS and VPN policy: One trader on one clearly identified connection is what Top One Futures expects. Trading from different devices is fine and travelling is allowed with verification, but the Not Allowed list names "Using multiple IPs on the same account frequently" and "Trading multiple accounts from the same IP." The second one runs straight into the trade copier the firm builds into Tradovate to manage several accounts at once, and Top One Futures has not reconciled the two. A VPS is allowed if it has a static IP, but only after you notify support, register the IP and provide a VPS invoice. VPN guidance is self-contradictory inside one article: the body says the use of VPNs is "not advised", the closing list has "Using a VPN (strictly prohibited)". Serious violations of the IP policy breach the account and forfeit any profits.
Account-specific rules that vary: drawdown mechanics (Elite Daily and Elite Access breach only on the closing balance; Ignite and Instant trail on end-of-day balance; the legacy S2F trails tick-by-tick intraday), consistency percentage (15-40% by program and phase), and daily loss limits (see the matrix above).
Every rule across the four programs sits in the TOF rules overview. The three rules that trip up most traders have their own deep-dives: consistency rule, payout requirements, and activation fee.
Platform choice: Tradovate, NinjaTrader, and new checkout options
Platform choice at checkout: Tradovate or NinjaTrader, plus MatchTrader and TradeLocker options visible on the purchase page as of August 2026 (not yet covered in the help center). TradingView connects via Tradovate. Platform choice is independent of program.
Tradovate, the default platform. Web trader plus desktop for Windows and macOS, with the firm's trade copier built in. Credentials sit in the TOF dashboard, and all Tradovate/NinjaTrader-based accounts run under one login. Best for order-entry simplicity and new TOF traders.
NinjaTrader, available as web (log in with your Tradovate credentials) and desktop (Windows only, macOS is not supported). Local ATM strategies in NinjaTrader Desktop are the one documented automation exception, and they run on your machine, not the server, so an offline desktop leaves a filled order unprotected.
TradingView, connected via Tradovate (broker 'Tradovate', environment 'Demo'). The free tier updates data only every few seconds; real-time data needs a paid TradingView subscription. Best for chart-analysis-first traders.
MatchTrader and TradeLocker, listed as checkout options on the purchase page as of August 2026. The help center has no documentation for either yet, every platform guide (copier, ATM strategies, fees, credentials) is written for Tradovate/NinjaTrader, so treat them as new options without a public rulebook.
One setup detail that matters: the one-time market data certification on your first Tradovate account must be set to NON-PROFESSIONAL. The wrong selection blocks real-time data and triggers a substantial monthly data fee.
Three setups I run across my TOF accounts
The strategies that work at Top One Futures are ones aligned with the account's consistency rule and drawdown type. I trade primarily three setups across my TOF accounts:
London-open continuation on NQ, from 3:00 AM to 5:00 AM ET, NQ establishes a range driven by European flow. Break of the range (typically 4:00-4:30 AM ET) continues for the rest of the London session. Entry on first pullback, 10-15 point stop, 25-30 point target. Average $400-$600 profit per winning trade on 1 NQ contract. Win rate approximately 55% across logged trades.
NY-open mean-reversion on ES, fade the initial 15-minute range extreme against the VWAP. 3-point stop, 6-point target. Lower per-trade profit than NQ but 62% win rate. Good fit for traders building the 5 profitable-day Elite Access funded minimum.
Fading news releases, wait 5 full minutes after FOMC, CPI, NFP release. Take first counter-move toward pre-release VWAP with 10-point NQ stop and 20-point target. Size 50% of normal. Works on 60%+ of high-impact releases I've logged. Do NOT chase the initial spike.
Position sizing framework across all TOF accounts: start at 25-50% of the maximum contract count, and check what that maximum actually is on day 1. On a funded Elite Daily or Elite Access 50K the scaling plan starts you at 1 mini / 10 micros while end-of-day profit is under $1,500, moves to 2 minis from $1,500, and only reaches 3 minis at $2,000 of end-of-day profit; on Ignite and Instant Sim Funded the 3-mini limit is fixed from day 1. Either way, trade 1 NQ until the balance has a $500+ cushion above the drawdown line. Scale up only after 5 winning days without approaching drawdown.
Consistency-aware P&L planning: decide your payout target before you trade. Want $2,000 on Ignite (15%)? Best day must be ≤$300. Plan 7 days of $280-$320. Don't accept a $1,000 single-day profit that forces the payout math to 50%.
The three mistakes that break more TOF accounts than any setup mistake: (1) max contracts on day 1 rushing the profit target, (2) ignoring consistency until first payout gets held, (3) over-trading to force the target instead of accepting a 10-day path. All three are discipline issues. Rule-aware sizing and patient execution beat strategy optimization every time.
If you're trading micros to stay inside the consistency cap, the MNQ scalping playbook walks through position sizing on TOF's cheapest entry instrument.
4.8 across 4,605 reviews, and what's behind it
Trust signals for Top One Futures as of August 2026:
Trustpilot: 4.8/5 across 4,605 reviews, the rating has held steady since the April 2025 launch with a slight upward trend. Top recurring praises: customer service (Sam, Ash, Alves named), fast response times, smooth payout processing. Top recurring complaints: occasional GPay payment processing failures, rare unresponsive payout requests (a small minority of reviews).
Payout track record: $27M+ paid out to date per the firm's site stats (August 2026). Payouts process via Riseworks, a third-party payment processor also used by Lucid Trading and MyFundedFutures. The firm advertises a sub-12-hour average payout time; my own payouts have landed in under 24 hours.
CEO visibility: Matt Morris, founder and CEO since TOF launched in April 2025. Active on Twitter/X and LinkedIn, frequently engages with the community. No major controversies or regulatory actions to date.
Company footprint: 228,000+ total accounts opened since the April 2025 launch, with no major operational disruptions.
Regulatory status: Top One Futures is a prop trading firm, not a brokerage, does not require broker-dealer registration. Operates under standard business licensing. Accounts are simulated ("SIM") funded accounts, which is standard practice across the futures prop firm industry in 2026.
Industry reputation: Consistently ranked in the top 5 futures prop firms by independent review sites (propfirmmatch, FundedTrader, 5ers). Featured in multiple prop firm news cycles for transparency on rule changes (2025 profit target restructure, late-July 2026 Top One 2.0 revamp).
What I trust about TOF: Payouts land reliably and fast. Customer service responds in minutes. Rule changes are announced with grandfathering policies that protect funded traders. The 4.8 Trustpilot across thousands of reviews is not astroturfed, I've verified individual reviews correlate with community reports.
Where I'm cautious: The account lineup and its per-program rule sets create complexity that newer traders underestimate. The Top One 2.0 revamp changed pricing and account limits across the lineup in late July 2026, and the help center still lags the purchase page in places. Verify the current payment methods and final charge in the live checkout.
Top One vs Topstep and the 50K field
Top One Futures vs its closest competitors as of August 2026:
| Firm | Entry cost (50K) | Consistency rule | Drawdown | Subscription | Profit split |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Top One Futures Elite Access | $218 one-time | 40% (funded) | EOD trailing | None | 90/10 |
| Topstep Trading Combine | $49/mo (Standard) / $95/mo (NAF path) | 50% of profit target (Combine) | EOD trailing, real-time breach | Monthly | 90/10 |
| Apex Trader Funding | $147/mo | None | Static | Monthly | 90/10 |
| MyFundedFutures Starter | $99 one-time | None | EOD trailing | None | 90/10 |
| Bulenox | ~$125 one-time | None | EOD trailing | None | 90/10 |
| Take Profit Trader | $150 one-time | None | EOD trailing | None | 90/10 |
| Lucid Trading LucidFlex | $136 one-time | None | EOD trailing | None | 90/10 |
| Tradeify Growth 50K | $145 one-time | None in evaluation; 35% funded | EOD trailing | None | 90/10 |
vs Topstep, Topstep is the household-name futures prop firm with monthly subscription during evaluation. The Trading Combine carries a consistency objective (best single day at or below 50 percent of the profit target, and exceeding it raises the profit target instead of failing the account), and the Maximum Loss Limit trails the end-of-day closing balance rather than the intraday high, though it is monitored in real time including unrealized P&L. Elite Access has a clearer one-time-fee structure with EOD drawdown. The TOF vs Topstep side-by-side shows TOF cheaper over 12+ months; Topstep wins on brand recognition.
vs Apex Trader Funding, Apex charges a monthly subscription during evaluation with static drawdown and no consistency rule. Apex runs a simpler rule set but stays more expensive per month, the TOF vs Apex breakdown makes the 12-month cost difference visible. TOF cheaper long-term; Apex preferred for traders who want a known brand.
vs MyFundedFutures (MFFU), MFFU uses end-of-day trailing drawdown like Elite Access, but pairs it with a 7-day payout minimum (Elite Access needs 5 profitable days) and different profit target tiering.
vs Bulenox, Bulenox has a 3:1 scaling plan and unlimited platform choice including MT5 and cTrader. More flexibility post-funding, more setup complexity to live with. The Bulenox vs TOF breakdown lays out where each one wins; TOF runs a cleaner rule structure for most traders.
vs Take Profit Trader, TPT is TradingView-native with Pay Per Trader pricing and a strong brand in the TradingView-first community. The TOF vs TPT comparison covers platform support and account variety side by side, TOF wins on both.
vs Lucid Trading, Lucid uses the newer LucidFlex instant-funded + LucidLive live account structure, the closest peer to TOF on account philosophy. The plan-by-plan Lucid vs TOF view makes the trade-off explicit: Lucid runs stronger on live-funded transition, TOF deeper on evaluation-based paths.
vs Tradeify, Tradeify is known for straightforward pricing and fast payouts, with a smaller account lineup (3 programs vs TOF's four). The Tradeify vs TOF breakdown clarifies the trade-off: TOF broader variety, Tradeify simpler to pick from.
Internal pick: Elite Daily vs Elite Access, the two TOF evaluation programs. Elite Daily is a monthly subscription with free activation, daily payout eligibility, and a 40% consistency rule in the evaluation; Elite Access is a one-time fee with a 30-day evaluation window, tiered activation after passing, and 40% consistency in the funded phase. See the Account Types & Pricing section above for the full side-by-side.
Is Top One Futures legit?
Yes. Top One Futures has operated since April 2025, has grown past 228,000 total accounts with $27M+ paid out, and holds a 4.8/5 Trustpilot rating across 4,605 reviews. Payouts run through Riseworks, the same third-party payment processor used by Lucid Trading and MyFundedFutures. No major controversies, manipulation complaints, or regulatory actions to date. I've personally logged 18+ payouts since TOF launched with zero payment issues.
What is the Top One Futures verification / KYC process?
Top One Futures runs KYC in its own dashboard, powered by KYCAID: photo ID plus a selfie, usually verified in under a minute, and only once. Your dashboard name must exactly match your government-issued ID. Separately, payouts require a verified Rise account linked to your TOF dashboard; without it, payout requests cannot be submitted.
Are Top One Futures accounts real money or simulated?
All Top One Futures funded accounts are simulated ("SIM") accounts, your trades execute in a simulated environment that mirrors real market prices. This is standard practice across the futures prop firm industry in 2026 (Topstep, Apex, Lucid and MFFU all run simulated funded accounts; the exceptions are the top-tier live stages, such as Topstep's Live Funded Account and LucidLive, which trade real capital). The profit split and payouts are real money, the firm pays you from its operating capital when you earn profits. TOF adds its own live stage: after 3 payouts (5 on Elite Daily) the firm moves you to a live account at an 80/20 split. The move to live is not just a split change. Only one account transitions and the remaining accounts are closed at that point. Once anyone in the household holds a live funded account, the household cannot hold sim funded accounts at all. There is no opt-out: the documented choice is to trade live or to close the sim account, and while the risk review runs, all other accounts are temporarily disabled and trading on sim accounts is not permitted.
How do I get funded with Top One Futures?
Two paths: evaluation or instant funding. For evaluation, buy Elite Daily (a monthly subscription, $178-$549 by size, no activation fee) or Elite Access (one-time $139-$359 list) and hit the flat 6% profit target while staying inside the drawdown rules; Elite Access charges its activation ($139-$359 by size) only after you pass, paid through the dashboard. For instant funding, buy Ignite ($218-$799) or Instant Sim Funded ($419-$939), you trade funded capital from day one with no evaluation phase.
How long does a Top One Futures evaluation take?
Fastest pass: one trading day on Elite Access, which has no evaluation consistency rule but a 30-day time limit, the only TOF program with one. Elite Daily's 40% evaluation consistency means your best day can be at most 40% of total profit, so a pass takes at least three profitable days. Average pass time across traders I've coached: 8-12 trading days. Ignite and Instant Sim Funded have no evaluation phase, so you're trading funded capital immediately after purchase.
What is the Top One Futures profit split?
90% to trader, 10% to Top One Futures. The split applies on every sim funded account and every payout. After the transition to live (after 3 successful payouts, 5 on Elite Daily), the split changes to 80/20 with a $200 minimum payout. That transition also ends the stack: only one account transitions and the remaining accounts are closed at that point.
How long does it take to get paid from Top One Futures?
Top One Futures publishes no processing-time guarantee. Across my 18-plus payout requests, every payout landed in under 24 hours. That personal experience is not a promise for another trader. First-payout eligibility remains program-specific: Elite Daily needs its buffer plus $500, Elite Access needs 5 profitable days plus its buffer, Ignite needs the 5% cycle target, and Instant needs its 6% first-payout target.
What is the Top One Futures consistency rule?
Consistency rules vary by program and phase: Elite Daily 40% in the evaluation only (funded has none), Elite Access 40% in the funded phase only (checked at the payout request), Instant Sim Funded 20%, Ignite 15% on new accounts. On the legacy side, Elite runs 25% in sim funded and S2F uses an Equity Stability Score formula instead of best-day consistency. Your single best trading day must stay at or below the account's percentage of total profit. Most first-payout holds at Top One Futures are consistency violations, not drawdown breaches.
What's the Top One Futures drawdown?
All four purchasable programs use end-of-day trailing drawdown, but the mechanics differ. Elite Daily and Elite Access adjust at the daily close and breach only on the closing balance, intraday dips below the line do not count unless the day closes below it. Ignite and Instant trail on end-of-day balance. On Elite Daily, Elite Access, and Instant, the line locks at the starting balance plus $100 (for example $50,100 on a 50K) once you reach the drawdown amount plus $100 in profit, or at your first payout; for Ignite the help center does not document a lock. The legacy S2F Sim PRO uses a tick-by-tick intraday trailing drawdown that includes unrealized P&L.
Is news trading allowed on Top One Futures?
Mostly yes. The exception: funded Elite Daily and funded Elite Access accounts may not execute trades from 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after a high-impact event (a 4-minute window covering FOMC, Fed rate decisions, NFP, CPI). Evaluations and all other programs have no news restriction. The highest-EV news approach is fading the first-5-minute reaction with tight stops, not chasing the initial spike.
Can I use EAs or bots?
No. Automated trading is strictly forbidden at Top One Futures: no EAs, no bots, no scripts. All trades must be entered manually or semi-manually by the trader. The only documented exception is local ATM strategies inside NinjaTrader Desktop, which manage stops and targets on a manually entered trade. A VPS is allowed only with a static IP registered with support. The same infrastructure article lists both frequent IP changes and trading multiple accounts from the same IP as not allowed, while the firm separately provides a Tradovate copier for eligible same-type, same-size accounts. The source does not reconcile that conflict, so confirm the intended multi-account IP setup with support before copying. Its VPN guidance also conflicts internally: the body says not advised, while the closing list calls VPN use strictly prohibited.
How many Top One Futures accounts can I have?
Limits are per program: up to 5 Elite Daily accounts, which the household-limits article says must all be the exact same account size while the Elite Daily V2 article shows a mixed household of two 25K, two 50K and one 100K account; up to 10 Elite Access funded accounts, all 10 the exact same account size, per the household-limits article (the Access overview still says 5); 3 Instant Sim Funded accounts, raised to 5 on the 25K and 50K sizes per the household-limits article and the August 2026 pricing page (the S2F-collection articles still say 3), where all accounts in the category must be the exact same size and sizes cannot be mixed; up to 10 Ignite accounts of the same size. In total a household can hold up to 35 active funded accounts. And once anyone in the household holds a live funded account, the household cannot hold sim funded accounts at all.
Does Top One Futures have a scaling plan?
Contract scaling exists only on funded Elite Daily and funded Elite Access accounts, and it is tied to end-of-day balance tiers, not payouts. Full contract limits are 1/3/5/7 minis (10-70 micros) on 25K-150K, and that ladder covers Elite Daily, Elite Access, Ignite, Instant Sim Funded and the legacy Elite. On funded Elite Daily and Elite Access those numbers are the ceiling rather than the day-1 allowance: a 50K starts at 1 mini / 10 micros and only reaches 3 minis at $2,000 of end-of-day profit. The legacy S2F Sim PRO is the one program that breaks the pattern with 1/4/8/12 minis (10/40/80/120 micros); the help center spells the gap out: "A $50,000 S2F Sim Pro account allows 4 minis, while a $50,000 Elite or Instant Sim Funded account allows 3 minis." Ignite, Instant Sim Funded, and the legacy programs run fixed contract limits with no scaling, so there the full number is available from day 1. Intraday profits never unlock a higher tier; increases apply the following trading day.
What happens when you breach at Top One Futures?
It depends on which limit you hit. A daily loss limit hit is a soft breach on funded accounts: trading pauses for the rest of the day and resumes the next session. For the Elite Daily evaluation the help center contradicts itself inside a single article: the body says a violation there results in a pause and the account unpauses the next trading day, the summary of the same article reads "Evaluation breach = failed account". Until Top One Futures fixes that article, treat the evaluation case as unsettled and size for the harsher reading. Closing below the max loss limit is a hard breach that ends the account. Evaluation breaches can be reset on the Elite family, flat $35 on Elite Access, $75-$242 on Elite Daily, within 14 days of the breach; Ignite and Instant Sim Funded cannot be reset, a breach there means buying a new account. Consistency violations only hold the payout until additional days balance the math. Prohibited-practice violations forfeit the account and all profits, and that list includes the 10-second minimum hold time: a trade closed in under 10 seconds counts as a violation, with 10.00 seconds on the wrong side of the line and 10.01 seconds acceptable.
Does Top One Futures restrict any countries?
Top One Futures restricts 73 listed countries and territories in its help center, and it is not just OFAC names: Iceland, the Philippines, Indonesia, Turkey, Ukraine, Ecuador, Panama, and Jamaica are on the list. Trading while physically in a restricted country hard-breaches the account, even if you only travel there. Check the help center list before purchasing.
