What “available in Australia” means here
Availability means the current official country page either names an Australian route or does not list Australia as restricted. It does not guarantee account approval, payout eligibility or a specific platform. The firm’s checkout, identity check and signed agreement control your account.
Current Australia shortlist
FTMO Australia
CFD / forexFTMO explicitly routes Australian clients through its Australian affiliate.
The Australian product and client classification differ from FTMO’s global route. Read the AU terms for the account you select.
FundedNext
CFD / forexAustralia is not on FundedNext’s current CFD restricted-country list.
Absence from the public list is not a purchase guarantee. Citizenship, residence, platform and KYC checks still apply.
Topstep
FuturesAustralia is not on Topstep’s current ineligible or Express-only country lists.
Topstep checks citizenship and permanent residence. Partner and sanctions rules can change access.
Choose by market before comparing account rules
For futures: Topstep is the relevant option in this shortlist. Its current eligibility page covers citizenship, residence, fully ineligible countries and countries limited to simulated funding stages.
For CFDs and forex: compare FTMO Australia with FundedNext. FTMO explicitly has an Australian route; FundedNext currently omits Australia from its published CFD restriction list.
Do not compare a futures evaluation with a CFD challenge as if the drawdown, market access and funded stage were interchangeable. Start with the instrument you trade, then compare the exact account and payout rules.
Checks to run before paying
- 1. Confirm both citizenship and residence. A firm may evaluate both, and travel or VPN use can trigger a separate check.
- 2. Confirm the funded stage. Simulated and live-market access can differ by jurisdiction even when the evaluation is available.
- 3. Confirm the payout rail. A firm can accept an account purchase while a particular withdrawal method remains unavailable in your country.
- 4. Save the agreement and country page. Country rules change. Keep the version that applied when you purchased the account.
Evidence and update trigger
PTV owns this country-access page. The three access claims use the firms’ official country-policy pages checked on September 14, 2026. Recheck the page when a linked policy changes, a firm changes its operator or funded-stage access, or an Australian trader reports a checkout or payout restriction that conflicts with the published rule.
