Prop Firm Drawdown Calculator

Enter the values from your exact account. The calculator shows the current loss floor and how much equity remains before a breach.

Account inputs

Current result

Loss floor $47,500.00
Remaining buffer $3,000.00
Buffer remaining 120.0%

A static floor stays at starting balance minus the maximum loss amount.

Use this calculator for a TradeDay account

  1. Choose EOD trailing, locks at starting balance for a current TradeDay EOD route, or Intraday trailing for an intraday route.
  2. Copy the starting balance and maximum drawdown from the current table for the exact route and size.
  3. For EOD, enter the highest end-of-day balance used by TradeDay. For intraday, enter the highest tracked balance or equity named by the account rule.
  4. Use current equity for the remaining-buffer result. The active floor is enforced during the session even when the trail updates at end of day.

Official sources checked 14 September 2026: What is the maximum drawdown rule?; What are the differences between each account size?.

Which high-water value should you enter?

  • Intraday trailing: the highest equity or balance specified by the firm, including an intraday peak when the rule tracks it.
  • EOD trailing: the highest end-of-day balance used by the firm after its daily calculation.
  • Static: the high-water value does not move the floor.

Check the rule before using the result

Firms differ on balance versus equity, end-of-day timing, lock points, commissions, open losses, resets, and account stage. Copy those inputs from the current rule for your exact product.
