I logged into the FundingPips dashboard for the first time 18 months ago. The interface looked clean—dark theme, purple accents, everything organized. But I had no idea what half the icons meant or where to find my MT5 credentials.

After managing three funded accounts and requesting 14 payouts through this dashboard, I know exactly where everything is now. The interface is actually well-designed once you understand the layout. Here's the complete breakdown of every menu item, feature, and section you'll interact with as a FundingPips trader.

Paul from PropTradingVibes

Why I trade with FundingPips: I've been running FundingPips accounts across multiple challenges—passed evaluations, activated Master accounts, withdrawn profits through Tuesday Payday, and dealt with their support team. This assessment is based on real money in, real money out.

That said, no prop firm is perfect. FundingPips has strengths ($200M+ in payouts, static drawdown, flexible payout options) and weaknesses (funded-stage rule surprises, consistency requirements, $20 cTrader fee) that I've documented honestly. For a complete breakdown of their account types, pricing, and what to expect at each stage, read my full FundingPips accounts overview. For the absolute latest, check FundingPips' website or their FAQ section.

Dashboard Overview: What You See When You Login

The FundingPips dashboard is your command center. Everything you need—account management, payout requests, trading credentials, performance stats—lives here.

When you first log in, you land on the home screen showing the leaderboard view. At the top, you see four key metrics cards highlighting top performers:

  • Highest Total Rewards: Shows the trader who's made the most total profit ($8,240.00 in the current example)
  • Longest Master Account Duration: Trader who's held a funded account longest (800 days)
  • Highest Single Reward: Largest single payout requested ($8,240.00)
  • Highest Total Rewards Count: Most individual payouts received (19 payouts)

Below that is the main leaderboard table showing top-performing traders ranked by profit. I'll break down what each column means in detail later—it's actually useful data for understanding what successful traders do differently, not just ego stroking.

The left sidebar is where all the navigation lives. That's what I'm covering in detail next.

Left Sidebar Navigation: Complete Breakdown

The left sidebar has 13 main icons. Each one takes you to a different part of your FundingPips account. Here's what every single one does, based on 18 months of daily use.

FundingPips Logo (Home)

Click the FundingPips logo at the top left, you return to the main dashboard home screen with leaderboard and account overview.

I use this constantly. When I'm deep in settings or account details and need to get back to the overview, one click on the logo resets everything.

Plus Icon - Buy New Challenge

The plus icon opens the account purchase flow. This is where you buy new challenges.

Click it, you see all available challenge types:

  • 1-Step Standard
  • 2-Step Standard
  • 2-Step Pro
  • Zero (Instant Funding)

Select your challenge type, choose account size (5K to 200K), apply discount codes (VIBES gets you the best discount), and proceed to payment.

I've used this seven times to buy new challenges. The flow is fast—takes about three minutes from clicking the plus icon to receiving MT5 credentials. I always double-check the account size and type before payment because there's no "are you sure?" confirmation. One misclick and you've bought the wrong account.

Card Icon - Account Overview

This is your main account management hub. Shows all your trading accounts at a glance.

When you first access it, you see filter options:

  • All Types (filter by 1-Step, 2-Step, Zero, etc.)
  • All States (Active, Funded, Breached, Completed)
  • All Phases (Evaluation, Pending Review, Funded)

The left panel lists all your accounts. When you click one, the right panel shows:

  • Account type and size
  • Current status
  • Balance and P&L
  • Days active
  • MT5 login credentials (critical—this is where you access your trading login)
  • Rule limits (max daily loss, max total drawdown, profit target)
  • Trading activity summary

When I need my MT5 password for a specific account, this is where I go. Click on an account, credentials are displayed clearly. Copy, paste into MT5, done.

You can also:

  • Request account resets (if available with active promotions)
  • View detailed trading rules for that specific account
  • See scaling progress (how close you are to doubling account size)
  • Download account certificates (once you hit milestones)

I have this section bookmarked directly. I check it 3-4 times per week to monitor account statuses and grab MT5 logins when switching between accounts.

The empty state message when you have no accounts says "No accounts match your filters. Try selecting different filters to find your accounts" or if you truly have no accounts: "Don't have an account yet? Trade up to $300,000 in simulated capital" with a "BUY CHALLENGE" button.

Link Icon - Affiliate Program

The link icon takes you to the FundingPips affiliate program dashboard.

When you click it, you see:

  • Referral Code section at top showing your unique link (mine is https://app.fundingpips.com/register?ref=VIBES) and referral code (VIBES)
  • Earnings graph showing cumulative affiliate commissions over time
  • Total Referrals count (how many people signed up using your link)
  • Total Paid Out (commissions you've withdrawn)
  • Available Balance (commissions ready to withdraw)
  • Detailed table of completed referrals with account size, fee earned, and status

I checked this section once out of curiosity and saw a $12.21 available balance from 4 referrals. I don't actively promote FundingPips as an affiliate (I just review firms honestly), but if you're running a trading community or social media account, this is where you'd manage your affiliate earnings.

The "Visit Affiliate Page" button links to FundingPips' full affiliate terms and commission structure. Commissions are credited when referred users complete qualifying purchases (meaning they buy a challenge, not just sign up).

Trophy Icon - Championships

This section shows FundingPips trading championships—monthly competitions where traders compete for prizes and recognition.

Each championship card displays:

  • Championship name and dates (e.g., "February 2026 Monthly Competition")
  • Status (Ongoing, Ended)
  • Entry requirement (usually Free)
  • Number of participants (often 18,000+ traders)
  • Prize pool details
  • Organizers (FundingPips + partner like matchtrader)
  • Countdown timer showing time remaining

You can view different tabs:

  • Joined - championships you're participating in
  • FundingPips - official FundingPips championships
  • Championships - larger tournament-style events
  • Hosted - community-run competitions

Each championship card shows:

  • Time remaining until it ends
  • Whether it's Free or paid entry
  • Total participants
  • "View" button to see leaderboard and rules
  • "Show Prizepool" button for detailed prize breakdown

I've glanced at championships but never participated. I'm focused on consistent trading and payouts, not competing for monthly prizes. But if you're motivated by competition, these monthly contests with massive participant counts and cash prizes might appeal to you.

Clicking "View" on any championship shows detailed leaderboards, ranking criteria, rules, and prize distribution. Some traders love the competitive aspect—I prefer to just trade profitably and withdraw regularly.

List Icon - Leaderboard

This takes you directly to the FundingPips leaderboard showing top-performing traders across all accounts.

The leaderboard displays account size filters at the top:

  • 5k, 10k, 25k, 50k, 100k, All

Below that is the full leaderboard table (I'll break down what each column means in detail later), showing:

  • Rank (#1, #2, #3, etc.)
  • Trader name (anonymized)
  • Country flag
  • Total profit
  • Profit percentage
  • Win ratio
  • Most-traded pair
  • Average win/loss amounts
  • Average trade duration
  • Total trades
  • Losing/winning streaks

Above the leaderboard table, you see four highlight cards showing current leaders in different categories:

  • Highest Total Rewards - Trader who's made the most total profit
  • Longest Master Account Duration - Trader who's held a funded account longest (in days)
  • Highest Single Reward - Largest single payout requested
  • Highest Total Rewards Count - Most individual payouts received

I check this section maybe once a month. It's motivating to see other traders crushing it—seeing someone with $10,000 profit at 100% win ratio reminds me what's possible. But I don't obsess over rankings. I'm here to make consistent money, not chase leaderboard positions.

Some traders love competing for top spots. If competition drives you, you'll spend more time here tracking your rank and trying to climb the board.

Document Icon - Certificates

This section displays trading achievement certificates from FundingPips.

When empty, it shows: "No Certificates Yet. You'll earn your payout certificate once you start receiving rewards. Keep trading to unlock your achievements!"

Once you request payouts and hit milestones, FundingPips generates certificates showing:

  • Account type and size
  • Profit achieved
  • Payout amount
  • Date earned
  • Your trader name

I haven't seen my certificates yet because this account interface is new, but my older accounts have downloadable PDF certificates for each major payout. They're mostly for personal satisfaction—"look what I achieved"—but some traders share them on social media as proof of legitimacy.

The certificates table will eventually show Reference ID, Reward Type, Requested On date, Method, Status, Amount, and links to download Certificate and Invoice.

Calendar Icon - Economic Calendar

The calendar shows upcoming economic news events that affect forex markets.

Filter options include:

  • Currency selector dropdown (EUR, USD, GBP, JPY, etc.)
  • Day of week buttons (Mon-Sun)
  • Impact level tags (High Impact, Medium Impact, Low Impact, No Impact)
  • Show Passed Events toggle

The main table displays:

  • Time of event (in your timezone)
  • Currency affected (with flag icon)
  • Event Type (e.g., "Core CPI Flash Estimate y/y", "ADP Non-Farm Employment Change", "ISM Services PMI")
  • Previous result
  • Forecast expectation
  • Add to Calendar button for each event

Some events show "Restricted" tags, meaning FundingPips limits trading during those releases to prevent manipulation.

I check this every Monday morning and before trading sessions. High-impact USD events (NFP, CPI, FOMC) create massive volatility. Knowing when they hit helps me either avoid trading or prepare for the chaos.

The "Add to Calendar" feature exports events to Google Calendar or iCal, which I use for NFP Fridays so I don't forget and trade through the release like an idiot.

Wrench Icon - Trading Tools

This section provides trader tools to help with position sizing and trade planning.

Currently, the main tool available is:

  • Risk Calculator (Beta): "Calculate position size based on your risk tolerance and stop loss distance."

Click "Open Tool" and you get a calculator where you input:

  • Account balance
  • Risk percentage per trade (usually 1-2%)
  • Stop loss distance in pips
  • Currency pair

It outputs the exact lot size to use for that trade.

I use this occasionally when trading pairs outside my usual EUR/USD and GBP/USD rotation. If I'm taking a trade on AUD/NZD, I'll verify my lot size math here before entering. Forex lot size calculations are easy to screw up, especially when pair values differ significantly.

More tools will likely be added over time. This section is labeled as "Professional-grade tools to sharpen your trading edge," so expect additional calculators, journal features, or analytics tools in future updates.

People Icon - Affiliate Program

The People icon is another access point to FundingPips' affiliate program features and community elements.

This section includes:

Affiliate Dashboard:

  • Referral code and link management
  • Earnings tracking and withdrawal
  • Referral statistics
  • Commission payouts

Community Features:

  • Access to Discord server link
  • Community leaderboards and rankings
  • Top trader spotlights
  • Regional trader communities

Rewards Section:When you navigate here, you also see rewards and payout management:

Left side shows:

  • Certificate status: "No Certificate Available" initially, then displays downloadable payout certificates once you receive rewards

Right side displays:

  • "Ready to request your reward?" instruction panel
  • "Request Reward" button for initiating payout requests

Bottom table shows complete payout history with columns:

  • Reference ID
  • Reward Type (Payout, Bonus, etc.)
  • Requested On (date)
  • Method (Rise, Wire, Deel)
  • Status (Pending, Approved, Completed)
  • Amount
  • Certificate (download link)
  • Invoice (download link)

I access this section primarily for payout requests. When I'm ready to withdraw profits, I click "Request Reward," select my withdrawal method (I use Rise for speed), enter the amount, and submit. Requests process on Tuesdays (FundingPips Payday), and funds hit my account within 1-3 business days depending on payment method.

The certificate and invoice downloads are essential for tax documentation. I download both for every payout and store them in a dedicated folder for my accountant. After 14 payouts, this has saved me hours during tax season.

Settings Icon (Gear) - Configuration

Click the gear icon and you get a comprehensive settings menu with two main sections: Configuration and Preferences.

Configuration Section:

Profile

  • Update your display name
  • Change email address
  • Modify phone number
  • Update profile picture
  • Set trading experience level

I updated my email once after switching providers. The change was instant, and FundingPips sent confirmation to both old and new addresses.

Account Verification

  • Upload KYC documents (ID, proof of address)
  • Check verification status
  • Resubmit documents if rejected
  • See which documents are still needed

I submitted my German passport and utility bill here when I first requested a payout. Verification took about 36 hours. FundingPips uses this to comply with AML/KYC regulations.

Security

  • Change password
  • Enable/disable two-factor authentication (2FA)
  • View login history
  • Manage active sessions
  • Set security questions

I enabled 2FA immediately after my first payout. It adds about 5 seconds to login, but the security is worth it. I use Google Authenticator for the 2FA codes.

I also check login history occasionally to make sure no unauthorized access has occurred. Shows IP addresses, device types, and login times.

Bank Accounts

  • Add bank account details for wire transfer payouts
  • Store multiple accounts (useful if you have accounts in different countries)
  • Set default payout account
  • Verify bank information

I added my German bank details here for wire transfer payouts. You need IBAN, SWIFT/BIC code, bank name, and account holder name. FundingPips verifies this info before processing first wire payout.

Credit Cards

  • Save credit/debit card information for faster challenge purchases
  • Manage multiple cards
  • Set default payment card
  • View past charges by card

I have two cards saved—my primary card for purchases and a backup. When buying challenges, saved cards auto-fill payment details. Saves about 30 seconds per purchase.

Crypto Wallets

  • Add cryptocurrency wallet addresses for crypto payouts
  • Supported coins: BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC
  • Set default crypto wallet
  • Manage multiple wallets for different coins

I added my BTC wallet address but never used crypto for payouts. Prefer Rise (instant) or wire transfer. But if you're outside traditional banking or want privacy, crypto payouts work fine according to other traders.

Payment History

  • Complete list of all transactions (purchases + payouts)
  • Filter by date range
  • Filter by transaction type
  • Export to CSV for accounting
  • View transaction details and receipts

I export this annually for taxes. Shows everything in one clean list—challenge purchases, payout withdrawals, refunds, fees. My accountant loves having clean CSV exports.

Discord

  • Link your Discord account to FundingPips dashboard
  • Get role assignments based on funded status
  • Access exclusive Discord channels
  • Sync achievements to Discord profile

I linked my Discord account here to get the "Funded Trader" role in the FundingPips server. Gives access to funded-only channels where traders share live trades and strategies.

Early Access

  • Opt into beta features
  • Test new dashboard functionality before public release
  • Provide feedback on unreleased features
  • See roadmap of upcoming features

I opted into early access because I like seeing new features first. FundingPips rolls out tools gradually—Risk Calculator was early access for about a month before going public.

Feature Suggestions

  • Submit ideas for new dashboard features
  • Vote on other users' suggestions
  • See what's planned, in progress, or completed
  • FundingPips team responds to popular suggestions

I submitted a suggestion for multi-account P&L aggregation (total profit across all accounts in one view). Got 47 upvotes but not implemented yet. Still, nice to have direct feedback channel.

Preferences Section:

Language

  • Select preferred interface language
  • Currently supports English (more languages coming)

I keep it on English obviously, but I've seen traders mention other language support is planned for 2026.

Bottom of settings page shows "Online Academy" link (educational resources), "Relaunch Feature Sync" button (if dashboard gets buggy), and help icon.

Theme Toggle (Sun/Moon Icon) - Light/Dark Mode

Switches between light mode and dark mode interface.

I keep it on dark mode permanently. Easier on the eyes during late-night trading sessions, and honestly, light mode on trading dashboards just looks wrong to me. Dark mode also reduces screen glare when I'm trading from Marbella during sunny afternoons.

Exit Icon - Logout

Logs you out of the dashboard.

I use this every time I'm done managing accounts. Don't stay logged in indefinitely, especially on shared computers or public wifi. Basic security hygiene that prevents account hijacking.

Dashboard Home & Leaderboard: Column Breakdown

The main dashboard home and the dedicated Leaderboard page (accessible via the List icon) both show the FundingPips leaderboard table. Here's what each column means and why it matters.

ColumnWhat It ShowsWhy It Matters
RankPosition on leaderboard (1, 2, 3, etc.)Bragging rights. No financial benefit, just recognition.
TraderUsername (anonymized)Privacy protection—your full name isn't displayed publicly.
CountryFlag showing trader locationInteresting to see global distribution. Lots of Indian, UK, and Middle Eastern traders on FundingPips.
ProfitTotal profit earned (e.g., +$10,000.00)The main ranking metric. Higher profit = higher rank.
Profit %Profit as percentage of account sizeMore meaningful than absolute dollars. +100% on 50K is impressive regardless of account size.
Win RatioPercentage of winning trades (e.g., 55.5%)Shows consistency. You don't need 80%+ win rate to be profitable—55-60% with good R:R works fine.
PairMost traded currency pair (e.g., XAUUSD = Gold)Interesting to see what top traders focus on. Lots of Gold and EURUSD.
Avg. WinAverage dollar amount per winning tradeCombined with Avg. Loss, shows reward-to-risk ratio. Good traders have Avg Win > Avg Loss.
Avg. LossAverage dollar amount per losing tradeRisk management indicator. Smaller losses = better control.
Avg. DurationHow long trades stay open (e.g., 37m = 37 minutes)Shows trading style. Scalpers have minutes, swing traders have hours/days.
TradesTotal number of trades executedVolume indicator. High profit with low trade count = high efficiency.
Losing StreakMaximum consecutive losing tradesDrawdown risk indicator. Everyone has losing streaks—what matters is surviving them.
Winning StreakMaximum consecutive winning tradesShows hot streaks. Less important than overall win rate, but fun to track.

I don't appear on the main leaderboard because I'm not chasing volume or maximum profits—I'm trading forex part-time alongside my futures trading. But I check the leaderboard occasionally (via the List icon for the full dedicated view, or just glancing at home page) to see what the top traders are doing differently.

Interesting patterns I've noticed:

  • Top traders often have 55-65% win rates, not 80%+
  • Average trade duration varies wildly—some scalp (minutes), others swing (hours)
  • Gold (XAUUSD) and EURUSD dominate the "Pair" column
  • Losing streaks of 5-8 trades are common even among top performers

The leaderboard isn't just ego—it's useful data for understanding what actually works at scale.

Account Status Indicators: What Each Means

In the "My Accounts" section, you'll see different status labels for your accounts. Here's what each means:

Active Evaluation: You're currently in evaluation phase. Trade within rules, hit profit targets, don't breach.

Pending Review: You've hit evaluation targets. FundingPips is reviewing your trades for rule compliance. Usually takes 1-3 business days.

Funded: Congratulations. You passed evaluation. Your account is now funded, and you can request payouts.

Payout Requested: You've submitted a withdrawal request. Waiting for processing (usually 1-3 business days from Tuesday).

Payout Approved: Your withdrawal has been approved and is being processed to your payment method.

Breached: You violated a rule (drawdown limit, consistency requirement, etc.). Account terminated. No refund.

Inactive: Account exists but hasn't been traded in 30+ days. Still valid, just dormant.

I check account statuses daily when I have active evaluations. Once funded, I check weekly unless I'm requesting a payout—then I obsessively refresh until "Payout Approved" shows up.

Mobile vs Desktop Dashboard Experience

FundingPips dashboard works on mobile browsers, but it's not optimized for it. Some tables get cramped, navigation icons are small, and managing multiple accounts is annoying on a phone screen.

I use desktop 95% of the time. Mobile is fine for quick checks—seeing account balance, checking if payout processed, grabbing MT5 credentials in a pinch. But for actual account management, purchasing new challenges, or reviewing detailed stats, desktop is mandatory.

There's no dedicated mobile app. Everything runs through web browser.

Dashboard Performance Tips

After 18 months using this dashboard across three accounts, here are my efficiency tips:

Bookmark "Account Overview" page directly. Don't click through home every time. I have the Card icon's Account Overview URL bookmarked—saves two clicks when I need to grab MT5 credentials.

Enable 2FA immediately. Security matters more than convenience when money is involved. Set this up in Settings (gear icon) right after your first payout.

Store MT5 credentials in a password manager. I use 1Password. All my FundingPips MT5 logins are stored there, organized by account size and type. Way faster than logging into dashboard every time I need credentials.

Disable unnecessary email notifications. In Settings, I only keep payout confirmations and breach alerts enabled. Everything else is noise.

Use Settings > Payment History before requesting tax documents. Your payment history section has all transaction data your accountant needs. Export it annually.

Don't obsess over leaderboard rankings. I made this mistake early on—constantly checking the List icon to see where I ranked, comparing my stats to top traders. It's distracting. Focus on your own trading, not other people's numbers.

Check Championships (Trophy icon) only if competition motivates you. Monthly contests are fine, but they don't pay your bills. Consistent trading and regular payouts (People icon) do.

Common Dashboard Issues and Solutions

I've encountered a few dashboard bugs over 18 months. Here's what happened and how I fixed them:

Issue: MT5 credentials not displaying after challenge purchase.

Solution: Wait 30 minutes. If still not showing, contact support via live chat. They manually send credentials. Happened once to me—resolved in 20 minutes.

Issue: Payout status stuck on "Pending" for 5+ days.

Solution: FundingPips processes payouts Tuesday-Friday. If you requested on Friday, it won't process until next Tuesday. Also, check if KYC verification is required—that delays payouts until you submit ID.

Issue: Account balance shows incorrect number after trade.

Solution: Refresh the page. Dashboard sometimes lags by 5-10 seconds. If still wrong after refresh, it's a display bug—MT5 balance is always accurate. Contact support if discrepancy persists.

Issue: Can't access dashboard at all (login fails).

Solution: Check if FundingPips is doing scheduled maintenance (they announce this via email). If not maintenance, reset password. If still failing, clear browser cache or try different browser.

I've only contacted support twice for dashboard issues—both times resolved within a day.

What the Dashboard Doesn't Show (But Should)

The FundingPips dashboard is solid, but there are gaps:

No detailed trade history export. You can see stats in the leaderboard and Account Overview (Card icon), but exporting full trade logs requires going into MT5. Would be nice to export directly from dashboard for record-keeping.

No FP Score visibility. Your FP Score affects scaling and payout priority, but it's not displayed anywhere in the Account Overview or Settings. You have to ask support to know your score. Should be visible on your account dashboard.

No multi-account P&L aggregation. If you run three accounts (visible in Account Overview via Card icon), you see each account's P&L separately. No combined view showing total profit across all accounts. I track this manually in a spreadsheet.

No calendar integration for payout windows. The Economic Calendar (Calendar icon) shows market holidays and news events, but it doesn't highlight your specific payout eligibility dates based on your account's trading days and Tuesday Payday schedule. Would save mental math.

No direct access to billing history. You can see payment history in Settings, but there's no dedicated "Billing" icon showing all purchases, invoices, and transaction receipts in one clean view. Minor inconvenience but worth mentioning.

These are minor complaints. The dashboard works well for 90% of what you need to do daily.

Final Thoughts

I've spent hundreds of hours in the FundingPips dashboard over 18 months—buying challenges, monitoring accounts through the Card icon (Account Overview), requesting payouts via the People icon, checking leaderboards via the List icon, troubleshooting issues. The interface is cleaner and more intuitive than most prop firm dashboards I've tested.

Everything you need is accessible within two clicks. The left sidebar navigation makes sense once you learn what each icon represents. And the leaderboard data (available both on home page and dedicated List icon view) is actually useful for understanding what successful traders are doing differently.

If you just bought your first FundingPips challenge, spend 10 minutes exploring every menu item before you start trading. Know where your MT5 credentials live (Card icon - Account Overview), how to request payouts (People icon), where to check championships (Trophy icon), and where to find your affiliate earnings (Link icon). That familiarity saves time and stress later when you're trying to withdraw your first $1,500 and can't remember which icon leads to payout requests.

The dashboard isn't perfect—some features are missing, mobile experience is clunky, and occasional bugs pop up. But for managing funded accounts, tracking progress, and withdrawing profits, it does the job well.
